What is Medical Massage?

It is results oriented treatment that is specifically directed to address conditions that have been diagnosed by a physician. The therapist may use a variety of techniques that work with the intent on improving soft tissue conditions, increase circulation, reduce or eliminate pain and inflammation, restore function, improve flexibilty and posture, reduce stress and calm the nervous system. An assessment/evaluation is performed by the massage therapist with specific outcomes being the basis for treatment.

Spa400 specializes in this outcome-based massage. Our therapists work in harmony with your physician, chiropractor and physical therapist to develop a treatment plan for you. The goal is to help eliminate pain and restore mobility.  It is primarily a targeted session to specific problem area(s) the patient presents with. A diagnosis and script from a referring doctor is required and/or recommended.
